Where are the school portraits taken?
Our school portraits take place outdoors, using environmental backdrops on school grounds (greenery, brick walls, etc.), or indoors on our solid, charcoal gray backdrop, and exclusively use natural light. The result is bright, natural and fun images that capture who your child truly is.
What if it rains?
In the case of inclement weather, a rain date is scheduled for school portrait days taking place outdoors.
What if my child is absent, or if I’d like a retake?
One makeup date will be scheduled. Because we do not require pre-purchases, a retake date is not available.
How many images are taken of each child?
We take several images of each child to ensure that we capture them at their best. You can expect to receive 2-3 finished proofs of your child. Images receive our basic edit, and the option is available to add on a more extensive edit for cuts, bug bites, etc.
Do I need to pre-purchase packages?
Never! We believe in letting you see the images of your child(ren) before making any selections.
How does ordering work, and what is pricing like?
Our pricing structure is simple, with both a la carte prints & digital images. Our simple online ordering system means no papers to get lost in the shuffle, no handling of money by the schools, and a quick and efficient system for families to view, order & download their images.
When will I receive my images?
You will receive info from the school approximately weeks after portrait day to let you know that your online gallery is ready to view. At that time, you will be able to review your child(ren)’s images as well as the pricing and products that we offer, place their order, and securely pay online. Parents who order digital images (our most popular option!) will be able to instantly download their ordered images. Print orders will be delivered directly to your home within 2-3 weeks of placing your order. Class photos are delivered to the school for distribution within 6 weeks of school portrait day.

For maximum ease & flexibility, we offer prints a la carte, shipped directly to you from our lab. Digital images are the most popular option, as they offer the most economic value and ability to create copies for family & friends.
All students present on picture day receive a complimentary 5x7 class photo.
